With the objective of determining the relationship between the level of knowledge about feeding and food practices in obstetric patients of the Hospital Distrital Santa Isabel, 2018. The following quantitative research of correlational design was carried out in 124 pregnant women of the II and III trimester to whom two surveys validated by expert judgment were applied; about knowledge about feeding during pregnancy, with a reliability of 0.712 according to Kuder-Richardson. And about food practices in pregnancy with a reliability according to the Cronbach's alpha of 0.81. It was found that 19.5% of pregnant women have a good level of knowledge about feeding, 47.5% have a level of regular knowledge and 33.0% have a poor level. 17.8% have adequate food practices and 82.2% inadequate. There is no relationship between age and level of knowledge about feeding and food practices (p = 0.130), nor between the gestation period and the level of knowledge about feeding and food practices (p = 0.282). In this investigation it was determined that there is no relationship between the level of knowledge about feeding and the food practices of pregnant women.
