This present task has been performed with the aim of determining the quality of service of the alternative channels of payment for services at Antenor Orrego Private University. The problem formulated for the research was: What is the quality of service like in the alternative channels of payment for services among the students of the Faculty of Economic Sciences of Antenor Orrego Private University in the year 2017? Likewise, it was set as the general objective of the research: to Evaluate the quality of service that the alternative channels of payment for services have. Participating in the research according to the sample, there were 341 students of the Faculty of Economic Sciences, 60 % belonging to the Administration School, 32% to the Accounting School and 8% to the School of Economics and Business. The design of the research used was Cross-sectional Descriptive. When it comes to techniques, the Survey and the Focus group were used and so were, as tools, the Questionnaire and the Focus group Guide. The result of the research has allowed us to evaluate the quality of service offered by the alternative channels of the service channels, which itself has been qualified as good and excellent by the students of the Faculty of Economic Sciences of Antenor Orrego Private University. Likewise, we have identified the factors that influence the quality of service and we have detected some unfavourable aspects such as the charging of a commission per each operation and the delay in the updating of interface with UPAO in some occasions and the lack of an informational campaign.
