To determine the correlation between the state of inmunocompromised with the reactivity of the rapid test in the Hospital Regional Docente Las Mercedes de Chiclayo. METHODS: A correlational, descriptive, restrospective, descriptive transversal was conducted. The study population consisted of 47 patients according to inclusion and exclusion criteria established. RESULTS: The rapid HIV test showed a 98%(46) of positive results regardless of inmunocompromised state and only 2% (1) were noreactive presenting as isloated case, by relating the inmunocompromised state and reactivity of the rapid test 4.202 (p= 0.435) Chi Square was obtained. CONCLUSIONS: There is no relationship between the inmunocompromised state with the reactivity of the rapid test for HIV at Hospital Regional Docente Las Mercedes de Chiclayo.
