This thesis aims to determine the structural criteria according to standards and methodologies to design the structure of a flexible pavement, stormwater drainage system and signaling; and thus propose an efficient level of passability. In addition, it was identified that this area belonging to Calle 5 and 9 does not have basic engineering studies. For the conception of the road project, it has taken into account the existing traffic volumes, the projections of the same and the aesthetic aspect of the integral project, so that the vehicular movements can be solved in all the senses. To carry out this research, we sought to strategically zonify the location of the sample extraction wells to later determine their physical and mechanical properties of this extracted soil and determine its load capacity that this area presents. Likewise, this research will be developed in a thorough manner so that all the information collected is of reference use for future projects on road construction. Finally, the structural design of the road was determined and the rainwater drainage and signaling system was proposed; everything as a possible solution to improve road traffic and safety in this area.
