This work was carried out at the poultry farm located in industry ROSVAL Miracle huanchaco district, where the use of formaldehyde used in hatcheries (Hatcher) and its effect on the first week-old farm was studied. 120 fertile eggs of Cobb Vantress 500 line was used, the same as were disinfected with 1% formaldehyde before entering the incubator to 19 days of incubation, then went to the hatcher 36 hours approximately, previously selected in the table candling. two hatcher one with formalin treatment and the other without formaldehyde with 55 eggs each hatcher used. During stage two containers birth with 100 ml of formalin each replacing after 8 hours with 200 ml of formalin and finally after 8 hours with 100 ml of formalin were placed. The results of treatment with formol birth was higher birth weight, weight gain and feed conversion. However in food consumption was no significant difference in both.
