The present clinical trial compared the analgesic efficacy of paracetamol – sodium naproxen and paracetamol – diclofenac sodium in the management of posoperative pain management in complex extraction. The study was developed at the Clinical Stomatology at the Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego. Patients who required complex extraction were included randomly into 2 groups: 27 received paracetamol - naproxen sodium and 27, paracetamol - diclofenac sodium. The procedure was standardized, evaluated the analgesic efficacy using the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) in 3 times: at 8, 12 and 24 hours. Statistical analysis was performed using the T-student with 5% significance. The results concluded that no significant difference in analgesic efficacy between paracetamol - naproxen sodium and paracetamol - diclofenac sodium after the complex extraction.
