Determine if gravidarum hyperemesis is a risk factor associated to adverse newborns outcomes at Regional II- 2 de Tumbes Hospital. Methods: Was conduced a analitic, observational, retrospective, cohorts investigation. The study population was conformed for 92 pregnants women inclusion and exclusion criteries distributed in 2 groups: with or without gravidarum hyperemesis. Results: The estadistical analysis about the variables in study like risk factors were: 1) prematurity (RR: 2.75; p<0.05), 2) low weight at birth (RR: 2.6; p<0.01), 3) little to gestational age (RR: 2.33; p<0.01). Conclusions: Gravidarum hyperemesis is a risk factor associated to prematurity, low weight at birth and little to gestacional age at Regional II- 2 de Tumbes Hospital.
