The present study is of a basic observational type, and its purpose was to determine the level of knowledge and preventive behaviors on hepatitis B in stomatology students who began their integral clinical practices of the Private University Antenor Orrego; 2016-II. The sample consisted of a total of 86 students of stomatology who began their comprehensive clinical practices that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results allowed us to conclude that 60.5% of the students presented low level of knowledge and 79.1% inadequate behaviors on hepatitis B. The level of hepatitis B knowledge of stomatology students who started their comprehensive clinical practices at the Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego, 2016-II according to the academic cycles did not reach statistical significance (p = 0.203) and likewise no differences were found between Level of knowledge among women and men (p = 0.274). The preventive behavior on hepatitis B of stomatology students who started their clinical practices at the Antenor Orrego Private University; 2016 - II according to the academic cycles did not reach statistical significance (p = 0.504). Similarly, there is no variation in the preventive behaviors between males and females (p = 0.299).
