Abstract

Hoy en día es usual hablar de la crisis del agua, hecho que se ha convertido ya en una preocupación mundial. Las reservas aprovechables del recurso hídrico son cada vez menores y poco se ha hecho para corregir este grave problema. No se ha logrado hacer conciencia dentro de la sociedad para hacerle frente a esta amenaza, una amenaza que debe ser combatida por todos. Esta situación deberá corregirse pensando siempre en el bienestar colectivo.

La presente Tesis, tiene como objetivo principal, diseñar una planta de tratamiento de agua residual (PTAR), para usar dicha agua tratada en riego de parques y jardines en el Distrito de La Esperanza y con el fin de reducir sus descargas contaminantes al mar. Además de proporcionar al estudiante y / o profesional interesado en el tema, el conocimiento, pasos y / o metodología para el diseño; Por lo cual se proporciona la información suficiente, para poder llevar a cabo el proyecto.

Se podrá encontrar y entender convenientemente en esta Tesis, cuales son los estudios básicos necesarios a realizar, para comenzar a diseñar una Planta de tratamiento de Agua Residual - PTAR.

Se establece también los parámetros básicos de diseño; Además conocer las diferentes alternativas para el tratamiento de agua residual que se pueden plantear o proponer inicialmente, que luego serán discutidas, evaluadas, y finalmente seleccionar la más adecuada.
