Percepciones sobre machismo en las mujeres del barrio III del centro poblado alto Trujillo, 2013

Abstract

Con el objetivo de explorar las percepciones sobre el machismo en las mujeres del Barrio III del Centro Poblado Alto Trujillo - 2013, se realizó una investigación cualitativa de tipo fenomenológico; para lo cual se aplicó entrevistas a profundidad a 12 mujeres y grupo focal a 7 mujeres informantes clave; quienes cumplieron los criterios de inclusión que a continuación se detallan: Residencia en el barrio III del Centro Poblado Alto Trujillo hace más de 6 meses, de 30 a 49 años, que tengan hijos de ambos sexos, nivel de instrucción similar (secundaria completa) y que acepten participar en el estudio. Los datos fueron analizados luego de la transcripción de las entrevistas y grupos focales. Se analizaron términos y contextos de método fenomenológico. En este estudio el análisis muestra que las mujeres del Barrio III del Centro Poblado Alto Trujillo; tienen patrones culturales de machismo, sin embargo a pesar que las mujeres identifican las practicas machistas, estas son toleradas en sus roles como algo natural. Las percepciones sobre el machismo en estas mujeres son negativas, relacionando con violencia física y psíquica hacia la mujer. Esta práctica se da porque el hombre, desde muy pequeño, ha sido formado de esa manera en su hogar, que es el lugar donde se otorgan estos roles. Así mismo, las mujeres del Barrio III del Centro Poblado Alto Trujillo; opinan que la actitud del hombre machista impacta en gran manera en la mujer; puesto que le causa dolor, sometimiento, trastornos psicológicos. Es importante, que los servicios de salud promuevan la creación de programas o actividades, para la mejora en la equidad de género.

With the objective to explore the perceptions about the machismo of the women of Barrio III of Populated Center Alto Trujillo - 2013, was realized a qualitative research of phenomenological type; for which interviews were applied to depth to 12 women and focus group to 7 women key informants; who fulfilled the criteria of inclusion that next are detailed: Residence in the Barrio III of Populated Center Alto Trujillo more than 6 months ago, from 30 to 49 years, to have children of both sexes, level of similar instruction (incomplete secondary) and that accept to take part in the study. The information was analyzed after the transcription of the interviews and focus group. We analyzed terms and contexts of phenomenological method. In this study, the analysis shows that the women of Barrio III of Populated Center Alto Trujillo; have Cultural patterns of machismo; however, although women identify the practices machists, these are tolerated in their roles as something natural. Perceptions about the machismo of these women are negative, relating to physical and mental violence towards the women. This practice occurs because the man, from they were kids, have been formed of this way in their homes, that is the place where award these roles. Likewise, the women of Barrio III of Populated Center Alto Trujillo; they think that the attitude of the macho man affects big way in the woman; because it causes pain, subjugation, psychological disorders. It is important that the health services promote the creation of programs or activities for the improvement in gender equity.
