The purpose of the present study was to determine the reliability by measuring the distance from the FA point of the upper central incisor to the FALL line using a computer program to determine the anteroposterior position of the jaws. The sample consisted of 84 patients, who were selected according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, who were measured in two moments with a time interval of at least two weeks by two orthodontists who were previously trained in the Andrews' philosophy of the six elements of orofacial harmony. Reliability was assessed using the Intraclass Correlation Coefficient (ICC). The statistical significance was considered at 5%. The results evidenced the existence of high intra-evaluator agreement with ICC values of 0.982 and 0.990 (p <0.001); as well as high inter- rater agreement with ICC values between 0.982 and 1,000 (p <0.001). It is concluded that there is high reliability in the measurement of the distance of the central incisor superior to the facial axis of the forehead with the help of a computer program in subjects requiring orthodontic treatment.
