The purpose of this study was to analyze structurally the theses of undergraduate Stomatology students of the Private University Antenor Orrego (UPAO) 2010-2016. This prospective, transversal, descriptive and observational study was conducted in an environments provided by the Faculty of Stomatology of the Private University Antenor Orrego (UPAO) in the city of Trujillo, where it was selected a total of 368 thesis. The collected data was processed automatically in the statistical program SPSS Statistics 22.0 (IBM, Amonk, NY, USA). The results show that the past six years the total production of thesis was 368; 2015 was the year with greater production, with 88 thesis, the study area where most were executed was the universities with 128 thesis, most approached Odontological Specialty was Orthodontics with 73 thesis; the type of research most used was observational (66.85%), transversal (76.9%), prospective (86.14%) and descriptive (52.99%); the design of the research most used was observational with 251 thesis; The most used method of data collection was observational with 251 thesis; the statistical analysis used was the nonparametric inference with 181 thesis. The town where more developed the thesis was the department of La Libertad wit h 358 theses; the most studied population were students and surgeon dentists with 71 thesis. The ethical considerations are present in 73.37% of the projects.
