In the present thesis “ANALYSIS OF NOT PERMANENT FLOW AND OF THE PHENOMENON BLOW OF BATTERING-RAM, IN TUBES OF THE SYSTEM OF DRINKING WATER, BY MEANS OF THE HYBRID METHOD IN THE CITY OF TRUJILLO.LA LIBERATE.” it understands: the mathematical formulation, programming computacional of the model and the numerical modeling. In the mathematical formulation, there is included the Method of the Characteristics ( MC ) and the Hybrid Method ( MH ) , which is the combination of the MC with other schemes numerically: Method of the Implicit or Explicit Finite Differences ( MDFI or MDFE ) for different approaches of the factor of friction, like the formulation of Chen and Ackland ( variable ) and factor of transitory friction of Brunone. For the border conditions there is applied the Equation of Compatibility or of Karney, which simplified radically the complexity of the networks of tubes, solving tubes simultaneously for every time step. In the programming computacional of the model, the described numerical schemes and the conditions of border are included in the spreadsheets MC.xmcd and MH.xmcd developed in MATHCAD 14, which shows in detail the results for a system of very simple tubes due to the restriction of memory and a transitory software called HyMet v2010 developed in MATLAB 2009b, to solve the Blow of Battering-ram in drinking water networks, with complex topology. In the numerical modeling, all the examples included in this work were carried out using HyMet v2010 and the commercial software HAMMER XM v8 for the cross-check of the model, applied to the Network of Drinking water from Plant of treatment of Drinking water located in High place Moche up to the City of Trujillo, Province Trujillo.
