This study aimed to compare the aesthetic perception of malocclusions: Class III and anterior open bite between the dentist, dental students and ordinary people. Trujillo-2016. The prospective, cross-sectional, comparative and observational study included a total of 120 subjects including 40 dentist, 40 dental students and 40 common people, where students were chosen Stomatology 8 for each year of study. For the evaluation of the aesthetic perception of malocclusions: Class III and anterior open bite, 15 photographs designed for the study were shown; each one of the participants had to score them from 1 to 10. A questionnaire with the answers was recorded on a sheet developed specifically for the study. To determine the comparisons of aesthetic perception of malocclusion: Class III and anterior open bite between dentists, dental students of ordinary people, Kruskal Wallis for the overall comparison of groups and Mann Whitney for comparisons two to be used two. The results show that when comparing the aesthetic perception of Class III malocclusions and anterior open bite between dentist, dental students and ordinary people, statistically significant differences were found.
