Objective. Compare the degree of in vitro inlaid microfiltration using two photocurable resin cements with and without acid etching. Materials and Methods. The study was conducted in 32 healthy first premolars, randomized into two groups A and B. expulsive occlusal cavities were performed after resin inlays were prepared and then cementarlas. With photocurable Allcem cement (Kerr Corp.), the group A and group B inlays were cemented using a cement without engraving ácidoBisCem®. (Bisco Inc. USA), in both cases the protocol indicated by the manufacturer was followed. The samples were subjected to thermocycling (250 cycles between 5 ° C and 55 ° C) in distilled water and dipped in a solution of methylene blue at 2% during 24 hours. Then they washed, dried, sectioned and analyzed with a stereoscopic microscope at 40x magnification. The data were processed with the statistical program STATA version 12, then present the results in two-way tables and graphs. Chi2 test was used. Results: No statistically significant difference (p = 1.167) were observed in both microfiltration grade cements. Conclusion: It was concluded that there is no difference in the degree of in vitro microfiltration between cementosfotocurables with and without engraving.
