Results: The average age of cases and controls was 17.84 ± 28.23 ± 0.824 years and 3,726 respectively. Being unmarried maiden was more frequent with an OR of 4.19, 95% CI not reconfirmed the statistical significance. The rural origin was more frequent in cases than in controls (82.2% vs. 33.3%), with OR = 9.25 (p <0.05; 95% CI 3978-21508). The low level of education was also more frequent in cases than in controls (80.0% vs. 31.9%), OR = 8.56 (p <0.005; 95% CI 3.78-19.34). Early age at first sexual relation (≤17 years) showed significant difference. The age of first pregnancy ≤15 years was also more frequent in cases than in controls (84.4% vs. 12.6%) and the OR was 37.68 (p <0.005; 95% CI = 14.52-96.03). Conclusions: The rural origin, the low level of education, the age at first sexual relation and pregnancy ≤15 years are risk factors for recurrent teen pregnancy.
