The project developed as a thesis subject , comprising the structural design of a building for the use of the 6-storey hotel building is located halfway between two buildings on the block , our land has a frontage of 15.15 m, with sides right and left have 20.35 m 20.39 m respectively. The basement consists of a parking area , pump room , cistern, toilet facilities for public use and emergency stairs . The land is located in the district of Nuevo Chimbote, which is located on a plot of S3 type profile ( With a load capacity of 1,429 kg/cm2 ) . The goal for each level is approximately 290m2 totaling 1740 m2 of built area. The structure consists of reinforced concrete elements . Calzaduras for semi basement were made in both directions . Given the location of the ground floor has asymmetry , which decreased with the inclusion of walls or columns conveniently located lengthened without affecting the architecture. As the armed slabs lightened slabs used an address with a camber of 25 and 17cm (see map details on the roof ) . In the semi basement is located the tank, pump room and parking . The rooftop overhead tank for water storage is located . As an additional issue , held the subrack of concrete and reinforcing steel for all structural elements designed with the purpose of verifying that its design has been efficient or too much or too little , as the indices obtained per square meter built be higher or lower according to the established practice of structural design. For the calculation of the foundation structures of the building project has been considered that the strength or bearing capacity, has a value of 1.429 Kg/cm2, being the foundation depth of 3.05m. Also, the seismic analysis of the structure according to the parameters established by the earthquake resistant design standard E-030.El seismic analysis will be conducted to obtain the response of the structure under dynamic stress, yielding: a) the main periods of vibration. b) The base shear and lateral movements to which it is subject and finally c) Efforts horizontal earthquake forces generated by structural elements (beams, columns and plates) For the design of beams, columns and plates that make up the structure of the building, seismic forces obtained by the dynamic seismic analysis were used.
