With the purpose to show which is the association between physica land psychosocial factors and the beginning of coital activity in a sample of 76 primiparous adolescents whose birth was attended in Belen Hospital in Trujillo city, correlational and descriptive study was realized. The information obtained was processe dusing the statistical program SPSS version 21; to determine if the proposed factors are associated the test chi2was applied and to measure the level of association the OR was calculated. With the risk factor the logistic regression model was constructed. In the study results was found that the time in resumption of coital activity in primiparous attended in Belen Hospital occurred in a 56% between 42 a 60 days, the 25% reinitiated after 60 days, and 48% reinitiated before of 42 days, alsofoundthat thePhysical factorsand physical exhaustion, decreased libido Via del Parto are not associated withthe resumption ofcoitalactivityin primiparous adolescents, but decreased libido isa risk factor; The psychologicalfactor:Fear ofa new pregnancy, is associated with theresumption ofcoitalactivityin primiparous adolescents and factors afraid to experience painand feeling lessattractiveare not associated, butare risk factorsforthe resumption of coital activity primiparous adolescents; Social Factors: Status and Level of Instruction are associated with the resumption of coital activity in primiparous adolescents, becoming only the level of educationas a risk factor.
