In this report the correlation between the index of maturity of concrete mixes and its compressive strength, made with portland cement type Ms and Ico is determined. We worked with a total of 84 samples of water cement ratios 0.54, 0.61 and 0.69, manufactured and cured in accordance with ASTM C 192 standard. With the help of a home electronic equipment, calibrated under standard ASTM C 1074. readings concrete temperature, at ages 1, 3, 7, 14, 21 and 28 days it was noted. Determining, at the same ages, the compressive strength using the ASTM F 39 standard. The maturity index is processed, according to the ASTM C1074 standard, using the equation of Nurse-Saul. Equations and degrees of correlation for Portland cement concrete with Ms: W / c ratio of 0.54: f’c = 49.885 ln (IM) - 229.84 and R2 = 0.9479 Kg/Cm2 W / c ratio of 0.61: f’c = 41.537 ln (IM) - 188.57 and R2 = 0.9476 Kg/Cm2 W / c ratio of 0.69: f’c = 32.558 ln (IM) - 145.42 and R2 = 0.9514 Kg/Cm2 For concrete with Portland cement type Ico: W / c ratio of 0.54: f’c = 51.149 ln (IM) - 234.60 and R2 = 0.9434 Kg/Cm2 W / c ratio of 0.61: f’c = 43.745 ln (IM) - 198.73 and R2 = 0.9456 Kg/Cm2 W / c ratio of 0.61: f’c = 34.628 ln (IM) - 155.92 and R2 = 0.9438 Kg/Cm2
