The purpose of this study was to compare in vitro bond strength of a photocurable resin AND OTHER self-curing cement in direct media. UN comparative and cross-sectional study. Were Displays the Human premolars 20, selected according to the criteria of inclusion and exclusion, to those who were cemented with both resins brackets. Two groups of 10 premolars Each one formed a UN group was cemented brackets with a photocurable resin Transbond XT® and the other with Rely-a-Bond self-curing resin. The comparison of the strength of adhesion between the Transbond XT® and Rely-A-Bond in direct cementation of brackets was performed by Mann-Whitney U test considering UN significance level of 5%. The results showed that if there is statistically significant difference between the Transbond XT® resin and the resin Rely-A-Bond. The mean resin Transbond XT® WAS 16.19 MPa with a standard deviation of 0.62, while the resin RelyA-Bond WAS 12.10 MPa with a standard deviation of 2.51. Which concludes the photocuring resin Transbond XT® mayor presents Bond strength self-curing the resin Rely-aBond in direct cementation of in vitro media.
