This research project is to study the coverage area of the TV signal UPAO CANAL 39 and identify the points where the received signal is below the levels set for good reception in order to improve levels of reception from the districts of Huanchaco, La Esperanza and Salaverry. The first chapter is the study of the problem, analyze the characteristics and formulate the problem and then reach the objectives of the study and formulate the hypothesis. The second chapter covers the background of the research and the theoretical framework, where is a brief review on the approaches of this project and a technical description on analog TV is done by relating the frequency assignments for TV service according to the standards of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Peru. The third chapter shows the materials and methods performed. In addition the data needed for the development of research where measurements of levels of reception and where inaccessible areas such as relay stations and equipment needed for implementation are also determined defined collected develop. It also contains the proceedings where necessary and important parameters are described as the calculation of the links, azimuth and tilt angles of the antennas, reception power microwave links, coverage and radiation patterns of the relay stations, including an analysis of the data using statistical techniques and models. The fourth chapter describes the results of research where research objectives is developed containing the geographical areas in the districts of Huanchaco, La Esperanza and Salaverry where the reception level is below the threshold of 74 dBuV / m, the locations where relay stations, azimuth angles radiating antennas, propagation of the relay stations were implemented, validating the proposed solution. Finally, discussion of results, conclusions of research and some recommendations for project implementation is efficient is presented.
