The objective of this research was to determine the different behaviors in dental pain and its relationship with socioeconomic status - cultural district residents Cachicadán - La Libertad 2013. This research was a descriptive study, in which 246 were surveyed Cachicadán district residents. Statistical analysis was performed using the chi-square test of independence of criteria, The collected data were entered into a database in IBM SPSS Statistics 19 for processing and pattern classification presented in one and two entrances. Statistical significance was considered to 5% The results allowed us to demonstrate that: higher percentage of traditional self-medication was found in SES - low education (56.0%) and very low (41.9%). Culture medium (14.6%) - the highest percentage of professional medication and no treatment in socioeconomic status was found. Culture medium high (33.3%) - the highest percentage of drug self-medication and selfmedication in traditional socioeconomic status was found. The relationship between the management of dental pain and cultural socioeconomic status through the Chi Square (X2 = 0.000) concluded that the association between dental pain management and cultural socioeconomic status was evaluated.
