Comparación de la relación anteroposterior de los incisivos centrales superiores con la frente de sujetos con anomalías maxilares

Abstract

El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo comparar la relación anteroposterior del incisivo central superior con la frente de sujetos con anomalías maxilares mediante un análisis fotográfico de perfil en sonrisa. La investigación observacional, prospectiva y comparativa presentó una muestra constituida por 73 alumnos, conformada por 29 hombres y 44 mujeres, de la de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego. Se educó al alumno para adoptar la posición natural de la cabeza, y se le tomó una fotografía de perfil sonriendo, las imágenes fueron impresas para poder realizar los trazos. En ellas se trazaron líneas de referencia para evaluar la posición anteroposterior de los incisivos centrales superiores, así como el tipo de frente. Los puntos de referencia para evaluar la posición del punto EV fueron los puntos trichion, glabela y FFA según la forma de la frente. Para evaluar la relación anteroposterior del incisivo central superior y la frente de sujetos con anomalías maxilares se empleó el método de muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia utilizando la prueba exacta de Fisher. En conclusión los resultados muestran que no existe relación en la comparación entre la posición anteroposterior del incisivo central superior y el tipo de frente en sujetos con anomalías maxilares.

This study has the objective to compare the anteroposterior relationship of the maxillary central incisor to the front of subjects with maxillary anomalies by a photographic profile analysis smiling. The investigation was observational, prospective and comparative a sample of 73 students, comprising 29 men and 44 women from Atenor Orrego Private University. The students were educated to take the natural position of the head, It took them a photograph of profile smile, images were printed to perform strokes. In these baselines to evaluate the anteroposterior position of the upper central incisors and the inclination of the front were drawn. The benchmarks for assessing the position of the point where the trichion EV points, glabella and FFA according to the shape of the forehead. To evaluate the anteroposterior relationship of the maxillary central incisor and maxillary front of subjects with abnormalities on non-probability sampling method was used for convenience using Fisher's exact test. In conclusion, the results show that there is no relationship in the comparison between the anteroposterior position of the upper central incisor and the type of front in subjects with maxillary anomalies.
