To associate demographic factors with the self-report of periodontal disease in adults, in the context of Covid-19. Trujillo. Material and Method: This quantitative, observational, analytical, cross sectional study consisted of a sample of 384 adults who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. A Google forms virtual questionnaire of 15 questions and closed answers was used, validated by expert judgment with Aiken's V index (0.971) and Cronbach's Alpha reliability (0.768), considering as demographic factors: gender, age, level of education and level of education. economic income per capita. The Chi-square test at 5% significance was used. Results: According to gender, 86.2% of men have noticed that food remains and/or impacts between their teeth and 53.2% have bleeding gums; Differences according to gender were found for all the questions, with the exception of questions 7 and 14, which obtained a p>0.05. According to age, 28% of those surveyed between the ages of 30 and 40 have ever undergone a treatment where they cut part of their gums because they were inflamed; while 40% of those surveyed between the ages of 51 and 60 believe that they have gum disease; Differences according to age were found for all the questions, obtaining a p<0.05. Conclusions: Age, educational level and per capita income level are factors that are associated with the characteristics of self-reported periodontal disease in the adult population
