This research work was developed in the Callash Farmhouse, with the objective of determining the degree of sustainability of the drinking water system of said farmhouse; It includes the evaluation of different factors such as the state of the infrastructure of each one of the components of the system, the activities of operation and maintenance and activities of administrative management. It was concluded that the administrative management of the drinking water system of the Caserío de Callash is in a sustainable and good state with a sustainability index of 3.6 points as a result of the good relationship between users and authorities of the JASS and active participation on the part of the entire community, likewise the sustainability index of the operation and maintenance of the drinking water system was calculated with a value of 3.38 points, qualifying as a system in fair condition due to the lack of qualified personnel for water services. plumbing, work that is carried out by managers and is not paid, in the same way the sustainability index of the state of the sanitary infrastructure was determined, in which a score of 3.84 was obtained, qualifying as a structure in good condition; Finally, the sustainability index of the drinking water system was determined, obtaining a score of 3.66 points, which refers to a sustainable system in good condition. Finally, improvement in the structures of home sinks is recommended; as well as the construction of a 7m3 reservoir in addition to the existing one, since the supply of water is much higher than the capacity of the storage reservoir.
