The present study aimed to determine the factors associated with latent tuberculosis in second level health workers during the COVID-19 pandemic in Trujillo, 2022. The research was applied, non- experimental, retrospective and analytical, in a design in which 38 cases and 114 controls selected through simplerandom sampling participated. The results showed that of the group of workers with LTBI, 84.2% were women, 31.6% were between 25 and 34 years old, 15.8% consumed alcohol and 5.3% smoked; 23.7% had some type of obesity type 1 and2, 60.5% were overweight; the length of service was similar in both groups; in addition, 5.3% of cases had a family history of TB, while the control group had none; 71.1% of cases worked in high-risk areas, compared to 14.9% of controls. The analysis showed that the factors associated with ILTB were alcohol consumption (OR:4.08), obesity (OR:2.63), family history of TB (OR:3.22) and working in high-risk areas (OR:14.00). It is concluded that alcohol consumption, obesity, family history of TB and working in a high-risk area were risk factors for the development of LTBI in second level health workers
