The aim of this research was to determine the relationship between resilience and life satisfaction in psychology students at a private university in Trujillo. For the development of this study, a type of substantive research with a correlational design was used, for which a sample of 258 university students with an age range of 18-35 years from the first to the tenth semester of the psychology course at a private university in Trujillo was obtained. In addition, the following instruments were used: Resilience Scale (RS) by Wagnild and Young (1993) and Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS) by Diener, Emmons, Larsen and Griffin (1985). The results found a direct, highly significant (p<.01) and moderate relationship between resilience and life satisfaction in the sample assessed. In terms of resilience, the low level of resilience predominated with 38%, while in terms of life satisfaction, the low level of resilience stood out with 49.6% of students. It was concluded that there is a direct, highly significant (p<.01) and moderate relationship between resilience and life satisfaction among university students at a private university in Trujillo
