Percepción del usuario externo sobre el cuidado de la enfermera en el área de emergencia del instituto regional de enfermedades neoplásicas IREN Norte Trujillo 2017.

Abstract

Con el propósito de determinar la percepción del usuario externo sobre el cuidado de la enfermera en el servicio de emergencia, se realizó el presente estudio de tipo descriptivo simple y de diseño no experimental, de corte transversal; en el Instituto Regional de Enfermedades Neoplásicas, IREN – Norte. La muestra estuvo conformada por los usuarios externos, atendidos en el servicio de emergencia del IREN- Norte, que resultaron seleccionados después de considerar los criterios de inclusión y exclusión. En la presente investigación se utilizó el instrumento desarrollado y validado por Romero (2008). El instrumento mide la percepción del paciente y considera dos dimensiones, una interpersonal y otra sobre el entorno, consta de 28 ítems con tres alternativas de respuesta: siempre, a veces y nunca. Se concluye que la percepción del usuario externo sobre la calidad del cuidado de la enfermera en el servicio de emergencia del IREN es de nivel medianamente desfavorable con un 47.5% y medianamente favorable con un 23.3%, considerándolo que la percepción del usuario externo sobre el cuidado de la enfermera es medianamente desfavorable con tendencia a desfavorable 65.9%.

With the purpose of determining the perception of the external user about the care of the nurse in the emergency service, the present study of simple descriptive type and non-experimental, cross-sectional design was carried out; the Regional Institute of Neoplastic Diseases, IREN - North. The sample consisted of external users, assisted in the IREN-North emergency service, who are selected after considering the inclusion and exclusion criteria.In the present investigation, the instrument developed and validated by Romero (2008) was used. The instrument measures the perception of the patient and considers two dimensions, one interpersonal and another about the environment, consisting of 28 items with three response alternatives: always, sometimes and never. It is concluded that the perception of the external user about of care of the nursing in the IREN emergency service is moderately unfavorable with 47.5% and moderately favorable with 23.7%, considering that the perception of the external user about the The quality the care of the nurse is moderately unfavorable with a tendency to unfavorable 65.9%.
