The main objective of this study was to determine the relationship of financial planning with the liquidity of the company Importadora Ferretera y Soldaduras S.A., Lima, period 2019 - 2020. The correlational type contrast design was used. Likewise, for data collection, interview techniques and documentary review were applied; and as instruments, the interview guide and document review guide were used, respectively. Among the main results, it was obtained that there is no financial planning in the company, since operations are managed based on experience and financial statements are prepared purely for tax purposes; In addition, it was determined that the general liquidity levels in the company were high and represented an excess of it. Additionally, it was identified that, applying financial planning, current liquidity went from 13.82 to 5.30, and planning money inflows and outflows through budgets allowed improving the defensive test, since it went from 11.23% to 12.38%. It was concluded that there is no significant relationship between financial planning and liquidity, since when applying the non-parametric Wilcoxon test it was found that the relationship between both variables is not significant, rejecting the proposed hypothesis.
