The research called ““Description and update of the Hydraulic Inventory of the Algarrobo Users' Commission, for a better management of water resources in the San Lorenzo valley““ arises as a response to the diagnoses of the last years that establish the need to better manage the water resources due to the increase in demand due to population growth; Its objective is to evaluate the conditions of the hydraulic infrastructure of the Users' Commission of the Algarrobo Hydraulic Sub sector; it is a quantitative approach research with a descriptive design, which has used observation and documentary analysis as methodology. It has been supported by the legal and technical framework such as the Water Law No 29338, as well as the Regulation and its Regulations, as well as in the RJ N° 0327-2018-ANA. The results show that the irrigation system of the aforementioned User Commission has four blocks consisting of Block 1 El Papayo; Block 2, Algarrobo; Block 3 Valle Hermoso and Block 4 Piura. These blocks of the irrigation system capture water from the Tablazo canal, benefiting 1276 users and covering an irrigation area of 4770.04 ha. The researchers concluded that the main canal, which is 25.4 km long, is fully lined, and 80% of the lining is in fair condition and 20% is in poor condition. As for the second order laterals, which have a length of 48.34 km, most of them are lined (42.15 km); likewise, the third order laterals have a length of 76.57 km, of which 67.17 km are unlined; and the fourth order laterals have a length of 6.59 km, of which 6.08 km are unlined. In relation to the works of art, it has been observed that 52% of the culverts are not in good condition; likewise, 32% of the vehicular bridges are not in good condition and 70% of the pedestrian bridges are not in good condition
