The objective of this research work was to design a plant for the manufacture of ecological bricks based on lime and sand in order to reduce housing construction costs in the city of Piura. The research approach was quantitative, applied and correlational level. The population was made up of brick companies from the department of Piura. As techniques of data collection instruments, observation and documentary analysis were used, likewise, the instruments to be used were the observation guide and the document analysis guide. Regarding the proportions, the following quantities are presented for the elaboration of 1 ecological brick: 0.12 Kg of cement, 0.28 Kg Cal, 0.67 Kg fine sand, 1.02 Kg earth, 0.16 Kg of water and 0.035 Kg of Sika, which were obtained through laboratory tests. Likewise, according to the market study, there are about 1 million homes in the province of Piura, of which 39.48% are rustic homes that you want to reach. The results showed that, to carry out an ecological brick plant based on lime and sand, a total investment of S /. 477,845.56 soles, obtaining at the same time, a VAN of S/905,094.61 soles and an TIR of 38%, %. Based on this, it is concluded that the design of an ecological brick plant based on lime and sand is viable, in accordance with the established VAN and TIR.
