The present investigation entitled ““Financial Control of Work Applying Earned Value in the construction project of La Estancia de La Huaka Residential Work - Moche - Trujillo““, has as its main applicability, the Earned Value technique that allows controlling the execution of the project through the schedule of execution activities and the budget in order to generate an increase in profitability and optimization during the performance of the project. The type of research for the purpose is quantitative; Likewise, it is of basic research and by contrast technique it is descriptive, for this reason the earned value method was applied taking into account the planned schedule and the actual schedule, in order to obtain the basic points that are: planned value (PV), actual cost (AC) and earned value (EV), which were developed in Excel tables, taking into account that it was divided into 2 controls to obtain an exact visualization. Within which, by subtracting the earned value with the annual costs, the following was obtained, in the first control the work had a saving of $100,937.29, likewise, a cost performance of $1,088 being granted as work in progress. However, the second control showed us as a final result, that there was no longer any savings and instead we obtained an existing excess of $-806,383.14 and a cost performance of $0.736 that would be awarded as delayed work. Given all the studies and analyzes developed throughout the process, it is concluded that the importance of the applicability of the earned value in each and every one of the projects is relevant, thus preventing a budget increase and at the same time, complying with the objectives outlined in the fixed-term schedule.
