Actitud hacia la investigación científica y producción científica en estudiantes del tercer ciclo de maestría de una Universidad de Trujillo en 2020

Abstract

El objetivo de la presente investigación fue determinar la correlación existente entre actitud hacia la investigación científica y la producción científica en los estudiantes del tercer ciclo de Maestría de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego de Trujillo en 2020, durante el semestre académico 2020-35; con un diseño de investigación básico correlacional, teniendo una población de 17 maestrandos; utilizando dos instrumentos: el Inventario de medición de actitud hacia la investigación científica y el Cuestionario Producción Científica. Los resultados permitieron demostrar que existe una relación significativa (p<.05) directa y en grado medio, entre el Componente afectivo de la actitud hacia la investigación científica y la dimensión Métodos Investigativos de la Producción Científica, sin embargo, no existe relación (p>.05) con la dimensión Actividad Científica. Tampoco se encontró relación entre la dimensión Componente conductual de la actitud hacia la investigación científica y las dimensiones (Actividad Científica y Métodos Investigativos) de la Producción Científica, por obtener valores de .056 y .599 respectivamente (p>.05). Finalmente, no se encontró relación entre la dimensión Valoración docente de la actitud hacia la investigación científica y las dimensiones (Actividad Científica y Métodos Investigativos) de la Producción Científica, por obtener valores de .150 y .598 respectivamente (p>.05). Concluyéndose que no existe relación significativa entre la actitud hacia la investigación científica y la producción científica, por obtener un valor de .636 (p>.05), rechazando la hipótesis alterna y aceptando la hipótesis nula: ““No existe una relación significativa entre la actitud hacia la Investigación Científica y la producción científica en los estudiantes del tercer ciclo de Maestría de una Universidad de Trujillo en el semestre académico 2020-35

The objective of the present research was to determine the correlation between attitude towards scientific research and scientific production in students of the third cycle of Master's Degree of the Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego de Trujillo in 2020, during the academic semester 2020-35; with a basic correlational research design, having a population of 17 master's students; using two instruments: the Inventory of measurement of attitude towards scientific research and the Scientific Production Questionnaire. The results allowed demonstrating that there is a significant relationship (p<.05) direct and in medium degree, between the Affective Component of the attitude towards scientific research and the Investigative Methods dimension of Scientific Production, however, there is no relationship (p>.05) with the Scientific Activity dimension. No relationship was found either between the Behavioral component of the attitude towards scientific research and the dimensions (Scientific Activity and Research Methods) of Scientific Production, obtaining values of .056 and .599 respectively (p>.05). Finally, no relationship was found between the dimension Teaching evaluation of attitude towards scientific research and the dimensions (Scientific Activity and Research Methods) of Scientific Production, obtaining values of .150 and .598 respectively (p>.05). Concluding that there is no significant relationship between attitude towards scientific research and scientific production, by obtaining a value of .636 (p>.05), rejecting the alternative hypothesis and accepting the null hypothesis: ““There is no significant relationship between attitude towards scientific research and scientific production in students of the third cycle of Master's Degree of a University of Trujillo in the academic semester 2020- 35
