The objective of the study was: to determine the relationship between the Terminal Plane and Type of Lactation in Students of the Initial Educational Institution (I.E.I.) N ° 1733 “Mi Mundo Maravilloso“. Regarding the methodology used, it is non-experimental, descriptive, correlational, transversal, prolective and observational; It had 205 students as a population and 67 students from 2 to 4 years of the indicated institution as a study sample. A data collection card was used through an oral examination of each student that served to determine the Terminal Plane and a Form card that was applied to the mothers of the family and that consisted of a single question with which determined the type of breastfeeding given to your youngest child. Regarding the Results, the Chi Square test was used, where it is observed that X2 = 69,648 greater than the tabular table (9,488) with 4 degrees of freedom and also a p-value less than the significance level (0.000 <0.05 ), with which it is stated that the Terminal Plane is related to Breastfeeding Type. We also observed that 34.3% (23) of students who received Exclusive Breastfeeding had a straight terminal plane, 28.5% (19); while of the 14.9% (10) who took Breastfeeding (10), the 13.4% (9) were located in the Distal Step; for the 50.7% (34) who adopted for Non-Exclusive Breastfeeding, 34.3% obtained the Mesial Step. Furthermore, we have that 44.8% (30) of the male gender, 20.9% (14) received Non-Exclusive Breastfeeding; instead of 55.5% (37) of the female gender, 29.9% (20) also received Non-Exclusive Breastfeeding. Finally we have that 44.78% (30) of the students of the I.E.I. “Mi Mundo Maravilloso“ had a Straight Terminal Plane, 40.3% (27) were located on the Mesial Step and 14.93% (10) on the Distal Step. Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between the type of Terminal Plane and the Lactation.
