The present study aimed to determine the relationship between Self-concept and Sense of Humor, in a sample of 247 students from different academic cycles of the School of Psychology of a Private University of Trujillo, 2020. Using the Self-Concept Questionnaire Form 5 (AF5) by García and Musitu (2001) and the Humor Sense Questionnaire (HSQ) by Martin, Puhlik-Doris, Larse, Gray and Weir (2007). The results show a very significant, positive correlation (p <.01) between Self-concept and Sense of Humor. Regarding Self-concept, a Medium Level was obtained at the variable level with 53.0% as in its dimensions (Academic, Social, Emotional, Family, Physical) with a percentage between 47.8% and 62.3%. Regarding Sense of Humor, a 59.5% is obtained at a medium level, as in its dimensions Affiliative Humor and Improvement Humor. However, a low level is evidenced in the Aggressive Humor and Personal Disqualification Humor dimensions, with percentages between 57.5% and 66.0%. Finally, a very significant correlation (p <.01) was found between the different dimensions of each of the referred variables.
