This thesis deals with the analysis of the physical-mechanical properties (analysis of the characteristics of the aggregate, resistance to compression and flexotraction) for a mortar f'c= 125 kg/cm2, using QHUNA type I cement and applying glass powder to the mortar. 4%, 8% and 12% to reinforce the mortar. The methodology used is quantitative, with a type of applied research and descriptive research design, because information will be collected and standards will be investigated to carry out the tests and designs, in order to obtain better results in the dosage of the mixture design to determine the percentage of fluidity, resistance to compression and flexotraction. In the procedure we carry out the analysis of the characteristics of the fine aggregate through the Peruvian Technical Standard NTP 400.012, then we elaborate the concrete mix design under the guidelines of the American Concrete Institute (ACI 211.4) using QHUNA type I cement with increased glass powder at 4%, 8% and 12%. With the samples obtained (pattern, +4%, 8% and 12% of glass powder) the flow table test will be carried out to determine the percentage of fluidity according to the NTP 334.057 Standard; then we select cubic specimens of 5 cm per side for the compressive strength test of the mortar according to the NTP 334.051 and ASTM C – 109 Standards; and to determine the flexotraction resistance test, we selected prismatic cores of 4 cm x 4 cm x 16 cm (4 cm wide, 4 cm high and 16 cm long) according to the UNE-EN_1015-11 and NTP 334.120 standards. . Finally, we evaluated the results through tables and comparative graphs of the compression and flexotraction value (standard, standard + 4%, standard + 6% and standard + 8% of glass powder) tested at 7, 14 and 28 days.
