Objective: To identify factors associated with musculoskeletal symptoms in the personnel of the Regional Directorate of Agriculture, Cajamarca. Material and Method: A cross-sectional, analytical, observational study was conducted, surveying a total of 123 employees using a virtual questionnaire that included questions related to sociodemographic and work-related characteristics, as well as the Nordic and SUSESO ISTAS 21 questionnaires. The Chi-Square test was employed to determine the association. Results: Out of 123 workers, 81.30% experienced musculoskeletal symptoms, with 71.54% being male. The average age was 41.15 years, with an average weight of 82.45 kg. Overweight was observed in 56.91% of the participants, and obesity in 8.94%. The average length of service was 8.07 years, with 44.72% of the workers being engineers. 67.48% worked 48 hours per week, and 37.40% reported a sitting posture, while 32.52% were involved in weight handling. The most common location of pain was the lower back (45.05%), with 38.24% experiencing strong pain. The psychosocial risk was moderate in 54.47% of cases. Statistically significant associated factors included age, stage of life, job area, length of service, posture, weekly working hours, pain location, pain intensity, and the ““double presence““ psychosocial factor. Conclusions: Factors associated with musculoskeletal symptoms were found in personnel from the Regional Directorate of Agriculture Cajamarca
