Funcionamiento familiar y la conducta sexual en estudiantes de la Facultad de Ingeniería de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego 2023

Abstract

El objetivo del presente estudio de investigación fue determinar la relación entre el funcionamiento familiar y la conducta sexual en estudiantes de la Facultad de Ingeniería de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego 2023. Este estudio se caracterizó como de tipo básico y utilizó un diseño descriptivo correlacional transversal. Los datos se recopilaron mediante una encuesta que se aplicó a los estudiantes de la facultad de ingeniería previo consentimiento informado a una muestra de 361 estudiantes de los universitarios de la Facultad de Ingeniería que cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión y exclusión. Obteniéndose que la mayoría de los estudiantes tienen conducta sexual de mediano riesgo (65%) y el 33.2% tienen conducta sexual de riesgo alto; el 47.4% pertenecen a una familia funcional mientras que el 52.6% reporta disfuncionamiento familiar; el 31.3% forma parte de una familia nuclear, 24.7% familia extensa, 23.3% familia incompleta y el 20.8% familia reconstituida. Concluyendo que existe relación significativa (p-valor < 0.05), entre el funcionamiento familiar y la conducta sexual en estudiantes de la Facultad de Ingeniería de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego 2023

The objective of the present research study was to determine the relationship between family functioning and sexual behavior in students of the Faculty of Engineering of the Antenor Orrego Private University 2023. This study was characterized as basic and used a descriptive cross-sectional correlational design. The data were collected through a survey that was applied to the students of the Faculty of Engineering after informed consent to a sample of 361 students from the Faculty of Engineering who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Obtaining that the majority of students have medium risk sexual behavior (65%) and 33.2% have high risk sexual behavior; 47.4% belong to a functional family while 52.6% report family dysfunction; 31.3% are part of a nuclear family, 24.7% an extended family, 23.3% an incomplete family and 20.8% a reconstituted family. Concluding that there is a significant relationship (p-value < 0.05) between family functioning and sexual behavior in students of the Faculty of Engineering of the Antenor Orrego 2023 Private University
