This research was carried out in the farm of UPAO II Campus, located on the extension of Villarreal Avenue S/N - Nuevo Barraza, district of Laredo, province of Trujillo, region La Libertad, from february to march 2018. The aim was to determine the influence of three doses of biol (400, 800 and 1200 L biol/ha) on the development, growth and production of the spinach crop (Spinacia oleracea L.). The completely randomized block design was used with four treatments and four repetitions. An analysis of variance was carried out to determine the significant differences; and the test of Duncan at 0.05% of probability, to evaluate the best treatment. The sowing was carried out at a distance of 60 cm between rows and 15 cm between plants; the area used for the experiment was 240 m2. The application of biol was carried out 20 days after sowing. The doses of biol were 400, 800, and 1 200 L/ha; no dose of biol was applied to the control. The highest plant height and the highest number of leaves per plant, at 35 days after germination were obtained with the T3 treatment (1 200 L biol/ha), with 33.36 cm and 25.38 units, respectively; Treatment T3 (0 L biol/ha), obtained the lowest plant height with 18.05 cm and the lowest number of leaves with 9.5 units. The best leaf width and length results at 35 days after germination were obtained with the T3 treatment (1 200 L biol/ha) with 10.63 cm and 30.31 cm, respectively; the lowest results were obtained with the treatment T4 (0 L biol/ha), with 5.13 cm and 16.60 cm, respectively. The highest weight (t/ha) at 35 days after germination (22.4 t/ha) was obtained with the T3 treatment (1 200 L biol/ha); Treatment T4 (0 L biol/ha) produced the lowest production, with 7.80 t / ha.
