The present investigation was carried out in Ururupa Alto, Province of Santiago de Chuco, altitude 3981 meters sea level, from the date; December 2015 to August 2016. The objectives were: a) To Study the effect of the late foliar application of NPK (KAPHO - 90) in the production of sugar beet (sugar and fodder); b) contribute to the development of appropriate technology for this crop in the high Andean zone, where most crops of the crops do not develop economic production. To develop these objectives, an experiment with six replications was carried out with four treatments was installed, obtaining 24 plots of 0.9m2 each, with a spacing of 0.30m by 0.20m, density of 160,000 plants ha-1 with three doses of NPK foliar application (Foliar fertilizer, KAPHO - 90), control zero application, less 10% of the manufacturer's recommended dose, which is recommended by the manufacturer, (normal), and more than 10% of the dose recommended by the maker: T0: (0 L ha-1), T1: (0.45 L ha-1), T2: (0.5 L ha-1), T3: (0.55 L ha-1). It was found that in the high Andean zone, very humid subtropical montane prairie, sugar beet produced yields between 0.52 and 17.28 t. ha-1 and obtained optimal quality characteristics such as Sucrose (from 8.71 to 15.94%), % Brix (from 8.79 to 17.78 Degrees), Purity (from 87.5 to 99.1%) for sugar or alcohol production; In addition, yields of leaves plus crown (between 0.43 and 9.26 t ha-1) were obtained, which are used for livestock feed. Statistical analysis between NPK foliar application doses (KAPHO - 90) and the yield in t ha-1, found that there is no statistical significance between different doses of this NPK foliar fertilizer (KAPHO – 90)
