The present study has been carried out with the purpose of determining the influence of the experiential experiences workshop in the resolution of mathematical problems in students of the second grade of primary education, of the Particular Educational Institution “Santa Rita“, Trujillo, 2018. It was formulated the problem: To what extent does the application of the experiential experiences workshop improve the learning of solving mathematical problems in students of the second grade of Primary Education of the Private Educational Institution “Santa Rita de Jesus“ of the District of Porvenir - Trujillo, year 2018? The hypothesis was: The application of the Experiential Experiences workshop significantly influences the resolution of mathematical problems in students of the second grade of Primary, of the Particular Educational Institution “Santa Rita de Jesus“, Trujillo, 2018. The present investigation is of experimental type with a pre experimental design, the study population was constituted by 54 students of both sexes, by means of non- probabilistic sampling for convenience the sample of 20 students was obtained, on which the instrument of the Test was applied. on problem solving, which was validated and reviewed by experts in the area, who in the quality of judges provide common criteria to assess the ability to solve math problems in pre-test and post-test. According to the results obtained in the pre-test with respect to the resolution of problems, 50% of students were in the low level, 40% in the regular level, 10% in the good level and 0% in the highlighted level. After running the experiential experiences workshop, the results obtained in the post test placed 20% of the students at a high level, 70% at the good level, 10% at the regular level and 0% at the level low. The t-student statistical procedure shows that the average difference (post test - pre test) of solving mathematical problems is positive with an experimental value of Tc = 6.99 higher than the tabular values of 1.73 and 2.54 with levels of significance 5% and 1% respectively rejecting HO and accepting H1. It is concluded that the experiential experiences workshop significantly improves the resolution of mathematical problems in second grade students.
