In the city of Trujillo, the lack of disposal of solid waste, brings as a repercussion the contamination of the soil, water and air; and all of this affects the health of the Trujillo population. The increase in construction activity especially in residential buildings, tracks and sidewalks, public areas (squares, public spaces); which necessarily leads to an increase in the generation of construction and demolition waste (RCD). This increase triggers a great problem, since this type of waste in particular does not receive the necessary treatment, and is not disposed of in an adequate way, so it ends up being accumulated in less and less appropriate places in the city, without a utilization system that allows mitigating the impacts associated with the continuous generation of RCD. Therefore, this research seeks to propose alternatives for the use of RCD, carrying out an analysis of these residues. For the investigation, three dumps were analyzed: Huanchaco, Buenos Aires in the Víctor Larco district and Milagro; Representative samples were obtained and they were subjected to laboratory tests to determine some characteristics that would make it possible to propose alternatives to RCDs. With theoretical support on the crushing, it was proposed as an alternative for the treatment of RCD to the process of “clinckerization“ and to obtain the degree of grinding necessary for the preparation of adequate inputs to produce concrete. It is proposed to design a crushing plant on a 16,500.30 m2 site that meets what is necessary for an adequate treatment of the RCD in the city of Trujillo.
