Study an existing relationship between serum levels of Rheumatoid Factor with the degree of activity (using DAS28 score) in patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis. Material and methods: An analytical and prospective observational study was performed. The population consisted of 2 study groups with patients diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis, group with remission activity (DAS28 <2.6) and group with present activity (DAS28> 2.6). All were measured Rheumatoid Factor and then we proceeded to relate both variables using Pearson's X2 test. Result: No relationship was found between serum levels of Rheumatoid Factor with degree of disease activity using the DAS28 score. Neither was the relationship of both variables with respect to age, sex and disease time. Conclusion: There is no relationship between levels of Rheumatoid Factor and degree of disease activity in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.
