Background: Cornual ectopic pregnancy is uncommon and represents 3% of all ectopic pregnancies. Objectives: A reported case of cornual ectopic pregnancy with succesfully surgical treatment is presented. Clinical case: A 39-yearold nulliparous patient with previous left salpingectomy due to ectopic pregnancy, presents a non-viable pregnancy at the uterine fundus identified by ultrasound and pelvic magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Furthermore, a mass in the left uterine horn and multiple myomas were observed causing diagnosis doubts. A new ultrasound was performed and the gestacional sac was found in the left cornual. The result was correlate with βHCG value and it is diagnosed a cornual ectopic pregnancy in a previous left salpingectomy stump, so surgical management was performed. Conclusion: The diagnosis of CEP continues challenge clinicians due to transvaginal ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging are usually non conclusive. However, ultrasound sensitivity is operator dependent.
