To determine the association between maternal attitude about vaccination and compliance with the immunization schedule in children under 5 years of age at the I-4 Bernal Health Center, 2022. Material and methods: The present research work is observational, cross-sectional and analytical. The sample consisted of 312 mothers who attended the Bernal Health Center with their children during the year 2022 to the outpatient medical service. A questionnaire was applied to assess maternal attitudes and by means of the comprehensive health care card of the children under five years of age, it was evaluated whether they maintained the complete vaccination schedule. The results were analyzed in SPSS Version 26. Results: Regarding maternal attitude towards vaccination of their children, there were 312 mothers interviewed of which 52.6% of the mothers showed a positive attitude, 39.4% were average positive attitude and 8.0% were a negative attitude. Furthermore, 55.1% of children had a complete sequence of immunizations for their age and 44.9% had incomplete immunizations. The place of origin that prevailed in the three maternal attitude groups was rural area at 100%. Conclusions: There is a significant statistical association between positive maternal attitude to immunization and compliance with the immunization schedule (p<0.01).
