The present work focuses on a study of the estimated power density levels in a space surrounding an 850 MHz cellular station taken as a reference in the city of Trujillo. For the estimation of the surrounding power density levels, data required under the Peruvian technical standard for estimation of RNIs were used, such as the transmission powers of the station and the horizontal and vertical radiation patterns, taken as a reference from a manufacturer. , with resolutions of 1° in both the horizontal and vertical patterns, as well as a radiation pattern with a downtilt angle of 4°. The estimated power levels were made by height layers covering a space that goes from 0 meters high to 28 meters high. The height of the cell station antenna was located at 25 meters. The results showed that between the heights of 24 and 25 meters the highest levels of power density are obtained, which reach up to 182% of the maximum permissible population limit 1 meter in front of the station, or the equivalent of 36% of the maximum permissible occupational limit. The details of the calculation and the graphs obtained at different heights are detailed in this work.
