In this report entitled “Surface diagnosis of the flexible pavement of José Gabriel Condorcanqui avenue located between Miguel Grau Avenue and Nicolás de Piérola avenue“ located in the department of La Libertad. Its general objective is to carry out the superficial diagnosis of the flexible pavement of the avenue in question. For this reason, to carry out this diagnosis, the PCI method will be used in order to determine what state it is in and thus be able to provide a repair option to improve its passability. Likewise, when carrying out the inspection, we say that José Gabriel Condorcanqui Avenue has 146 sampling units for each lane and approximately 1,175 existing damages. The manual tells us that according to the length and width of the road, 14 sampling units will be evaluated, where as a result we obtain a quantitative value of 21, which means “Very Bad“. We also verified that the most observed pathologies are Crocodile Skin with 27%, Lane/Berm Unevenness with 23% and Hollow with 13%. That said, we say that the repair option for José Gabriel Condorcanqui avenue is to carry out a structural design in order to improve its functionality and above all to continue preserving the road heritage of our country.
