The thesis has as its main objective, to propose an architectural design for a development and innovation research center to promote agriculture and fishing in the Piura Region. The study presents a type of qualitative research, with a descriptive and explanatory design, where it has been delimited within a geographical area that belongs to the regional government of Piura, located on the Piura to Paita road, in plot J. Within the investigation, it was obtained as results, the spatial and functional design for the various types of users who are engaged in agriculture and livestock work. Another of the results of the research is to have proposed an architectural design for an academic infrastructure that allows strengthening research for the agricultural and fishing sector and integrating it with the profile of the technological scientific park of the province of Piura. The architectural design presents plans of the academic environments, specialized laboratories, general library, administrative environments and logistics and recreation areas. The design presents seismic forecasts, management of basic services such as water, electricity and sewage. Finally, it is concluded that the research contributes with a futuristic architectural view to promote the economic development of the region and enhance the highly qualified human resource.
