Roads are the means of transport through which the economy of a country and departmental circulates, to establish communication between municipalities and departments, which strengthens relations and social development, for this reason the roads must be built under technical specifications that ensure durability and functionality over a lifetime. Paved roads are subjected from their commissioning and throughout their useful life, to various processes of deterioration and failure. However, despite their great importance, the design and construction of streets requires large investments, which is why, for their construction, they are works that must be carefully analyzed in order to achieve structures that are technically feasible, functional and economically feasible. The flaws identified in the road were cataloged which are: crocodile skin, block cracking, longitudinal and transverse cracks, patching, polishing of aggregates, holes, and detachment of aggregates. The type of sampling for which the choice of random samples has been considered was defined, thus contemplating a total of 24 samples, the area of the samples ranges between 226 and 330 m2. Once the sampling units had been established, the severity of the failures was determined, having as a recurring point the high severity in the aggregate polishing failure, which is the most recurrent failure of the entire analysis, with an incidence of 9.5 %. The flexible pavement condition index was obtained for each of the samples under study, thus achieving a minimum PCI value of 25 and a maximum PCI value of 87 and a total PCI of 56.33, which places us in a state of conservation regular.
