Determine if Social Isolation is associated with a depressive process in patients with schizophrenia of the Piura Community Mental Health Center 2018-2021. MATERIAL AND METHOD: The data were collected by reviewing the clinical history of the population that had passed the inclusion and exclusion criteria; Once the participants were selected, a test was used, a scale method to measure depression (EDC), self-stigma (ISMI) and social functioning (SFS). The data obtained were taken to the statistical package IBM SPSS Statistics 25, to obtain the result. RESULTS: A total of 164 valid records were collected, of which 54.88% of the records (90 participants) were male; The average age found was 36.5ª, 14.63% of them had some previous history of disease (High Blood Pressure, Dyslipidemia, Diabetes Mellitus2); Within the association analysis we found that the presence of depression is associated with presenting a process of positive social stigma as well as being in a state of isolation (p:0.032; Rpa:3.45 – CI:2.14-3.65). CONCLUSION: Depression is associated with presenting a process of positive social stigma as well as being in a state of isolation (p:0.032; Rpa:3.45 – CI:2.14-3.65)
